A first experience that counts

A useful line on a first résumé.

Fort Ouest has grown with the Mont-Tremblant outdoor community since 2005. The youth program introduces teens to reliability, teamwork and the rhythm of a real local operation in a safe, supervised setting.

Teens who stand out may also be remembered when Fort Ouest looks for future team members. Participation never guarantees employment, but it can become a meaningful first connection.

The plan

Simple, supervised and planned with a parent.

  1. 01

    Call Dan

A parent and the teen begin with a conversation at 819-687-9721.

  2. 02

    Choose the dates

We schedule pedagogical days or weekends. The teen must not miss school.

  3. 03

    Complete 10 hours

The hours can be organized as two supervised 5-hour sessions, depending on operations and weather.

  4. 04

    Unlock the benefits

The one-year membership period begins once all 10 hours are completed.

What will the teen do?

Real help. Age-appropriate tasks.

Most participation happens outdoors with the team. Tasks remain straightforward, supervised and selected according to the day’s needs and conditions.

OUT

Outdoor upkeep

Pick up branches and help keep playing areas clean and safe.

RAIN

Rain-day support

Simple indoor tidying or post-group cleanup when outdoor work is not suitable.

GEAR

What to bring

Dress for the weather. Work gloves are provided, along with refreshments.
